JPG is the one format you can upload almost anywhere without a second thought. This tool takes the formats that give people trouble and hands back a plain JPG. That covers a PNG screenshot, a WebP image saved from a website, and a HEIC photo straight off an iPhone. An old BMP or a single GIF frame comes out as .jpg too.

For a photo, that swap also makes the file a lot smaller, since JPG packs photos far tighter than PNG. A 4 MB PNG often lands near a few hundred KB as a JPG, with no change you can see. Need a specific format instead? Use PNG to JPEG, WebP to JPG, or HEIC to JPG for iPhone photos.

A JPG cannot hold a see-through background, but a PNG or WebP often does. So this tool fills any transparent part with plain white before it saves the JPG. That is the safe, expected result for a form photo or a document upload.

Your picture keeps its full width and height, and the quality stays high. Only when you ask for a target size does the tool trade a little sharpness to hit the number you typed.

Many forms cap the file size, like a photo under 50 KB or 100 KB. Tick the compress box, type your number, and each JPG comes out at or just under it. The tool lowers the quality step by step, and shrinks the picture only if it has to, so the file still looks like a photo.
